Final Arrangements For Daytime Guests

Hello,

With less than three weeks to go until the big day (how?!), we’re so excited that you’ll be joining us to celebrate 🥂It’s come around incredibly quickly, and we honestly can’t wait to share it all with you.

We’ve pulled together a few final details to help everything run smoothly—so you can focus on the important things: celebrating, eating, and having a great time 🎉

Travel & Parking 🚗

A quick heads-up: the same weekend is Bournemouth 7’s Festival, so the area will be busy. If you’re planning to get a taxi at the end of the night, we strongly recommend booking in advance—future you will be grateful!

Also, if you’re travelling near Bournemouth Airport, allow extra time (and maybe a little patience 😅) due to expected traffic.

Parking is marked with green “P” icons on the map, please park in the spaces available from the point where the 'Reception & Bursary' are denoted on the map.

If your name is Grandma to Jorge, or Grandma & Grandad to Kimberley—you’ve got VIP treatment with reserved spaces in the Headmaster’s Visitors Parking👑

Ceremony 💍

The ceremony will take place in The Old Library, accessible from the far side of the school (look for “Headmaster’s Study” on the map).

Seating opens from around 11:30am

Please be seated by 11:45am sharp

There is a seating plan (we know, very official), and the Best Men will help guide you. We’d really appreciate everyone sticking to their assigned seats—no musical chairs this time 😉

Confetti 🎉

Canford strictly advise that all confetti must be white, fresh petals only. Therefore we are supplying some. Please do not bring any form of any other confetti or we may be charged. 🚓

Photography 📸

Family photos will take place straight after the ceremony, and we’ve provided the photographer with a carefully planned list.

Because the schedule is tight, we won’t be able to accommodate additional photo requests on the day—so please don’t be offended if we have to politely say no!

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony—no phones or cameras during this part. Just sit back and be in the moment with us 💛

That said, we’d love to see your photos from the rest of the day! We’ll share details of a photo folder where you can upload them.

One small request: please hold off posting on social media until we’ve shared a few of our own first (we’d quite like to break the news ourselves 😄)

Outfit Guide 👗

Most of the day will be indoors, and we’ve got wet weather plans in place—just in case the British weather does its thing ☔

There will be a coat rail available in The Long Gallery for anything you’d like to drop off.

A Quick Note on Invitations ✉️

We’ve kept the guest list nice and tight, so we kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. (As much as we’d love surprise plus-ones… this time, we can’t!)

We really hope you can make our big day—but if something unexpected comes up and you can’t attend, please let one of us know ASAP… so we can begin our heartfelt campaign to recover the £150 we’ve already spent on you 😄💸

Food & Drink 🍽️

We’ve done our best to accommodate all dietary requirements and preferences shared in your RSVP—so you should be well looked after.
